Welcome to Canon Event! By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Canon Event, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Canon Event is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to generate humorous text captions for your photos. The service includes:

AI-powered meme text generation
Multiple meme style themes
Photo selection from your library or camera
Saving and sharing created memes

3. Subscription Plans

Canon Event offers the following subscription options:

Free Tier: 60 memes per month at no cost
Basic ($0.99/month): 500 memes per month
Pro ($4.99/month): Unlimited memes

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription in your App Store account settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Canon Event to:

Create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
Generate memes using images you do not have rights to use
Circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements
Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service
Use the service for commercial purposes without permission

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of photos you provide. You grant us a limited license to process your photos solely for meme generation.
Generated Content: Memes created using our service are yours to use, share, and distribute.
Our Content: The Canon Event app, branding, and technology remain our intellectual property.

6. Content Moderation

Note: Our AI may refuse to generate meme text for certain images containing sensitive content, including but not limited to: tragedies, violence, hate symbols, or other inappropriate material. This is by design to promote responsible use.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Canon Event is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Generated meme text will be funny, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose
The AI will always produce desired results

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canon Event and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canon Event and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Canon Event at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
